About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Manager to lead contract negotiation and commercial management for regional new energy and engineering projects. This role has a strong emphasis on pre-sales contract negotiation, commercial risk control, and governance, supporting complex international projects across the full commercial lifecycle.

You will work closely with global and regional leadership while acting as the key commercial interface for contractual negotiations, compliance, and strategic commercial decision-making in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales contract review and negotiation for regional engineering and new energy projects, ensuring commercial alignment and risk mitigation
  • Oversee contract management across the project lifecycle, including fulfilment tracking, variations, claims, disputes, and compliance governance
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with clients, managing complex contractual discussions and safeguarding company interests
  • Provide legal-commercial support during bid, proposal, and contract structuring stages to ensure commercially sound agreements
  • Establish and optimize contract management systems, templates, and documentation processes to enhance standardization and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, procurement, technical, and project teams to deliver comprehensive commercial support
  • Monitor local legal, regulatory, and market policy developments, implementing proactive risk control measures for regional operations
  • Support key procurement and supply chain contract drafting, negotiation, and claims management when required
  • Strengthen commercial governance and ensure alignment with internal policies and international project standards
  • Contribute to regional commercial strategy and support leadership in achieving business and operational objectives

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Legal Studies, Engineering Management, International Trade, Business, or a related discipline
  • Full professional fluency in both Turkish and English to work effectively with local stakeholders and the global HQ
  • Ability to independently draft, review, and negotiate bilingual contract documentation
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract and commercial management within international engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy organizations
  • Strong legal background with proven expertise in pre-sales contract negotiation, contract drafting, claims management, dispute resolution, and commercial risk control
  • Solid understanding of international contract frameworks (e.g., EPC, service agreements, warranty, and lifecycle project contracts) and commercial governance practices
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-country projects with exposure to compliance, regulatory, and legal environments in international markets
  • Preferably from renewable energy, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure sectors such as wind, solar, energy storage, or equipment-led industries
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractual interfaces across the full project lifecycle, including bid stage, execution, after-sales, and service phases
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations across legal, finance, procurement, technical, and project teams
  • High commercial acumen, strong negotiation capability, and the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks during pre-sales and execution stages
  • Experience in multinational or global organizations with regional reporting structures is highly advantageous

This is a critical, high-impact role suited for a legally strong commercial professional who can independently lead contract negotiations and support international project execution in a dynamic renewable energy environment.
