Job Title: Directional Driller - VietnamJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Directional Driller to join our team in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deepwater drilling of high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) wells and be proficient in operating Sperry drilling equipment. This position requires a highly skilled individual who can effectively execute drilling operations while maintaining safety and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute directional drilling operations in deepwater HPHT wells.- Operate and maintain Sperry drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.- Collaborate with the drilling team to design well plans and trajectories that meet project objectives.- Monitor real-time drilling parameters and make necessary adjustments to optimize drilling performance.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.- Provide technical support and guidance to the drilling team.- Prepare and submit detailed drilling reports and documentation.- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during drilling operations.Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Directional Driller, with a focus on deepwater HPHT wells.- Proven expertise in operating Sperry drilling equipment.- Strong knowledge of drilling engineering principles and practices.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Fluent in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus.Education:- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for career growth and development.
