Electrical Engineer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS FOR HEATING PLANT

The client's heating and cooling business is developing new heating solutions for the

industry. Examples include electrode boiler and water battery solutions, heat pumps that

recover heat from data centres, and new innovative electricity-based steam solutions. We

have several new projects in the range of 10-50 MW on the horizon and are seeking a

committed senior and junior electrical designer for long-term engagement. The goal is for

individuals to handle the detailed design phase and commissioning of 1–4 projects related

to electrical systems.

We are looking for proactive Senior and Junior Electrical Engineers with strong

stakeholder management skills.

1 REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

• Over 10 years of experience in designing and procuring electrical systems for

energy plants/industrial facilities.

• The role focuses on detailed design of industrial electrical systems and qualitative

outcomes.

O Familiarity with high and low voltage standards and good installation

practices

O Knowledge of high and low voltage systems (TN-S and IT)

O Familiarity with high and low voltage equipment (GIS/AIS, Transformers,

VFC...)

O Cable layouts and busbars

O Grounding and short-circuit calculations

O System sizing and understanding of processes for critical review

O Other Development activities

• Efficient use of software such as Autodesk electrical and various calculation

programs.

• Responsible experience in commissioning multiple facilities.

• Experience in EIC for electric boilers and heat pumps is advantageous.

• Attention to detail and ability to perceive entire systems and interactions.

• Capability to work and document in finnish and english; knowledge of swedish is

considered a plus.
