Main Purpose of Job

The object of this document sets the requirements for the provision of Services to support delivery of the Windanker

Project. In particular, this document covers the Electrical Engineer support.

Key Tasks

• To prepare a set of Employer’s Requirements for Low Voltage and Electrical Equipment Basic and Detailed

design.

• To manage the delivery of the LV and Electrical Equipment design within the Foundations Design and

Foundations Supply Agreement Contracts.

• To ensure that Foundations Low Voltage and Electrical Equipment design is delivered according to

employer’s requirements, safety and quality standards within Iberdrola Group.

• To review the inputs and deliverables from the FOU designer and TP supplier. Management of comments

to LV and electrical design documentation.

• To act as the key contact person and representative for LV and Electrical Equipment design within FOU

package. To attend to meetings both face to face and tele conference.

• To provide technical support to the Foundations Design Manager from an electrical design (LV and MV)

point of view. To manage the electrical design (LV and MV) input on the interfaces with other relevant

packages and input providers. To identify risks and effectively manage mitigation measures.

• To prepare the Control Panel Room requirement details in OSS including all required accessories as per

relevant local and International standard.

• To review the input and co-ordinate with all external Stakeholder (TSO) and internal state holders (System

Integration, Electrical, OSS etc.) for all required clarification to prepare all the LV Works related documents

at OSS side in line with limited scope of work.

• Drive Compliance of components and their use to international codes and standards.

• To prepare the LV Cable connection diagram with Termination schedule for WTG Foundation and OSS

Side.

• To prepare the LV Cable Sizing document for LV Control Panels.

Key Criteria

• Essential

o Degree and professional qualification in relevant Engineering

o Substantial postgraduate experience in industry with significant experience in Offshore Wind

o IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management

software.

o Flexible to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of

countries thought northern Europe and USA, particularly Germany, France, Denmark, Spain and

England.

o Relevant experience in offshore delivery planning and set up.

o Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation associated with offshore/marine

delivery substantial packages.

o Good knowledge of offshore procedures, standards and guides.
