Electrical Technician

Spencer Ogden is seeking a hands-on and proactive Electrical Technician to join one of our global OEM clients to support a large scale and exciting onshore wind projects in Western Australia.

In this role, you will be supporting the Site Manager in electrical service and maintenance activities on site. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in large scale projects and work with a globally renowned company.

The ideal candidate will be based already in Western Australia with a valid WA electrical license and GWO and experience working on at least 1 windfarm in the past.

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: June 2025
  • Contract Duration: 6 months (extension dependent on performance)
  • Location: Badgingarra, Western Australia (Onshore)
  • Working Schedule: 6 days a week, 10 hours a day 
  • FIFO schedule (if required) - Flexible depending on candidate
  • PPE, Accommodation, Travel/Transport: Provided by Spencer Ogden/Client
Role & Responsibilities: Electrical Technician
  • Perform any electrical and communications intervention and/or corrective action and advance preventive activities
  • Supervision, planning and coordination of the maintenance tasks
  • Supervision of the operation of the wind farm work requests completion and reporting
  • Comply and adhere to all work, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Responsible for carrying out electrical works
  • Responsible for the scheduled maintenance

Experience & Qualifications Needed:
  • Minimum 2 years Electrical Technician or Electrician experience
  • Valid WA Electrical License 
  • Work safely in the construction industry Card 
  • Experience on at least 1 wind farm (preferred)
  • Valid GWO BST 
  • Valid Driver's License
