HRSG Advisor

Job Description:

Execution of commissioning works related to discipline in charge, which are to be compliant with safety, quality, time schedule, respective budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise positioning of template and embedded pieces before concrete pour.

Review heavy lift plan for HRSG modules & drums.

Supervise assembly of main & secondary steel structure, access platforms.

Supervise HRSG casing panel, field insulated joints installation to avoid hot spots

Supervise HRSG modules, drums installation.

Supervise HRSG piping installation, proper positioning of valves & instruments, welding, NDT, heat treatment up to hydro test & preservation.

Prepare hydro test plan & supervise execution.

Prepare flushing of piping systems, chemical clean, air or steam blows to meet cleanliness requirements.

Supervise safety valves hydro plugs removal.

Perform final audit of HRGS before GT first fire.

Supervise piping thermal insulation.

Supervise paint application.

Provide technical recommendation on installation technique, tools, resources.

Interface with HRSG Vendor office.

Participate to site coordination meeting and to schedule progress review.

Fully acquainted with the site specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly.

Ensuring within the scope of the discipline works that subcontractors are in compliance with the EHS requirements at the site.

Document non conformities, keep log, document cost of non-quality.

Issue progress report to the Site Management.

Required Qualifications

This role requires significant knowledge in HRSGs.

Good technical knowledge of Gas Power Plants business and products.

Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferable within power industry.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
