Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Subsurface to lead our team in Malaysia in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all subsurface activities, including reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation, to optimize the production of geothermal and other renewable energy resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of subsurface professionals to ensure the successful delivery of renewable energy projects
• Develop and implement subsurface strategies to maximize the production and efficiency of geothermal and other renewable energy resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subsurface data and insights into project planning and decision-making
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on subsurface matters to support project development and execution
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in subsurface technology and renewable energy development

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in subsurface engineering or geoscience
• Proven track record of successfully leading subsurface teams in the energy industry
• Strong technical knowledge of reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation techniques
• Experience working on renewable energy projects, particularly geothermal energy, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
