Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Minimum 2 days/week office presence)

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Marine Assurance Manager to join our Offshore Renewables team and play a key role in delivering one of Europe’s largest offshore wind projects

As a senior technical leader, you’ll manage and de-risk marine operations from pre-FID through construction, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and quality across marine interfaces. You’ll be the principal point of contact for marine risk management, marine warranty survey coordination, and stakeholder engagement on a major international stage.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead marine assurance for offshore operations including loadout, transportation, installation, and transfer.

• Act as project representative with key regulators and stakeholders including MCA, UKHO, BSH, Trinity House, and others.

• Provide expert marine advice to internal teams on technical strategy, contracts, risks, and consenting processes.

• Manage audits, inspections, and marine coordination to ensure compliance with HSE and marine standards.

• Lead the implementation of offshore marine procedures, H&S frameworks, and G+ Small Vessel Operating Guidelines.

• Develop and mentor a high-performing international team of marine assurance professionals.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

• Sea-going experience as a Master or Chief Officer (offshore wind industry preferred)

• Strong knowledge of marine assurance, offshore operations, and maritime regulations.

• Proven leadership in managing large, multidisciplinary offshore packages.

• Experience in HSE, risk management, and marine consent compliance.

• Degree in a relevant technical field; MSc is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.

Desirable:

• AVI Accreditation

• ISM Code Auditor

• Kelvin TOP-SET Investigator Certification

You’ll Also Need To Have:

• Valid GWO, Offshore Medical, HUET, and BOSIET certifications.

• Flexibility to travel across UK and Europe as required.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
