Job Title: Procurement Manager – EPC & Contracting Services

Our client is seeking a Procurement Manager with deep expertise in sourcing and managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and other large-scale contracting services. This role will lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for third-party EPCs, subcontractors, and major construction service providers across their renewable energy portfolio.

This is a strategic, high-impact position responsible for optimizing contract structures, mitigating risk, driving commercial value, and ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing and procurement of EPC contractors, design consultants, civil contractors, and other major service providers for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Manage the end-to-end tendering process: from RFI/RFP issuance, bid evaluation, and vendor shortlisting to contract negotiation and award.
• Develop and implement contracting strategies that align with project delivery models (e.g., turnkey EPC, split-scope contracting, EPCM, etc.).
• Collaborate with legal, engineering, development, and construction teams to ensure contractual alignment with project requirements and risk profiles.
• Draft and negotiate bespoke and standard contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or similar) tailored for renewable infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain a vetted preferred supplier list of EPCs and subcontractors, with performance metrics and due diligence records.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including price, terms, milestones, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, and variations.
• Conduct market analysis to assess contractor capacity, cost trends, and supply chain risks in various geographies.
• Work closely with the project controls and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements.
• Support ESG and compliance initiatives by ensuring contractors adhere to sustainability, HSE, and ethical procurement standards.
