Job Title: MPD Technician - RCD Work (Deepwater Sarawak)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MPD Technician to join our team and perform RCD (Rotating Control Device) work in deepwater Sarawak. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MPD operations, specifically with RCD systems, and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of RCD work in a challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain RCD equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control wellbore pressure during drilling operations to prevent blowouts and ensure the safety of the crew and equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members, including drillers, engineers, and geologists, to optimize drilling performance and achieve project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to RCD equipment and operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of RCD operations, including equipment performance, wellbore conditions, and any incidents or anomalies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MPD operations, with a strong focus on RCD systems.
- Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
- Willingness to work in a remote offshore environment on a rotational basis.
