Offshore Wind Project


Role Purpose


The O&M Asset Manager plays a central role in preparing and implementing all Asset Management activities required for the successful transition of a large offshore wind project from construction into operations. The role leads the O&M Asset Management team—covering Performance Management, Offtake Management, and Contract/Risk—ensuring processes, systems, reporting frameworks, and commercial structures are fully prepared and aligned by COD. Following COD, the Asset Management function is expected to continue seamlessly into the operational phase.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management


Recruit, lead, and develop the O&M Asset Management team.


Provide direction and oversight to ensure high-quality delivery across Performance, Offtake, and Contract/Risk disciplines.


Act in accordance with the company’s authorization matrix.


Coordination with Contractors & Stakeholders


Ensure alignment with Construction teams and O&M Contractors on all Asset Management deliverables and O&M-related issues.


Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to integrate Asset Management requirements into processes, procedures, and systems in preparation for operations.


Coordinate with the Offtaker and Transmission System Operator (TSO) to establish agreed processes for availability, LDs, bonuses, revenue settlement, and other commercial mechanisms.


Operational Readiness & Process Setup


Prepare and implement all Asset Management processes, systems, training, and reporting structures required for operations.


Establish robust frameworks for Performance Management, Offtake Management, Claims & Warranty Management, and Contract/Risk oversight.


Support O&M teams to ensure contractors are fully ready in terms of processes, documentation, reporting obligations, and training.


Commercial & Contract Management


Ensure all work performed by contractors and stakeholders adheres to contractual and commercial obligations across relevant agreements (e.g., TSO interface, PPA, WTG SMA, BoP SMA, and regulatory requirements).


Actively identify and manage commercial risks and provide input to OPEX budgeting.


Oversee the setup and execution of commercial settlement processes from First Power to COD.


Reporting & Compliance


Set up and manage all reporting required for shareholders, lenders, authorities, and internal governance (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).


Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of available capacity to the TSO and Offtaker from First Power through COD.


Deliver all O&M-related project reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or another relevant discipline.


Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical lead, asset management, or similar role.


3–5 years of project management experience, ideally within offshore wind or large-scale energy projects.


Native-level Polish and fluent English language skills required.


Demonstrated experience in setting up Offtake Management, Performance Management, or Contract/Risk frameworks is highly desirable.
