We are a fast-growing data center company with a strong footprint across the APAC region, currently expanding our operations in Korea. With several new greenfield developments in the pipeline, we are building a high-performing team to drive operational excellence and long-term growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day operations at our Seoul campus. This is a critical leadership role suitable for a results-driven professional with a background in managing teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring smooth operational delivery — even if not from an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background.
You will play a key role in shaping and growing operational frameworks across greenfield and live data center environments, while serving as a primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operational activities of the data center, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and customer satisfaction
Lead and manage a team of operations staff, fostering a strong safety and performance culture
Support commissioning and ramp-up of greenfield projects transitioning into live operations
Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with SLAs and company standards
Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, procedures, and reporting systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and commercial teams
Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance across all operational activities
Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on KPIs and operational metrics
Support capacity planning, resource forecasting, and cost control strategies
Be an ambassador for operational excellence and service reliability
Key Requirements
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 in a leadership or management role
Prior experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, IT, telecom, facilities, or related industries is highly desirable
Strong people management and communication skills – ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and clients
Experience working in greenfield environments or setting up new operations from scratch is a plus
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, planning, and execution skills
Fluent in both Korean and English (verbal and written)
High level of professionalism, accountability, and a growth mindset
