We’re currently looking to add a Senior engineer/technician to our Engineering team. Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the build, development, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface systems (hardware + software) for the modernisation and upgrade of Small Gas Turbines.
Key responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and test standardised HMI builds on Windows endpoints, Servers, and Clients. Including engineering software such as:
o AVEVA Intouch
o FactoryTalk Optix
o Simatic PCS7
o WinCC
and Cybersecurity software / measures:
o Windows hardening
o Endpoint security
o Whitelisting
o Secure backups
• Configure, develop, and test networking components such as industrial firewalls, and managed switches.
• Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for build configurations.
• Create and maintain information database(s).
• Collaborate and support the Project Execution team to enhance quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify and rectify problems found during testing of software/hardware and support the Field Service team during commissioning of equipment/software.
Qualifications:
• Degree qualified or equivalent professional accreditation or recognition in an engineering discipline preferably relating to the fields of Computer Science, Control Systems, Cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience working with industrial controls system applications such as:
o Rockwell/Allen Bradley Control Logix
o Control Systems
o AVEVA Intouch
o Factory Talk Optix
• Familiarity with industrial networks and cyber security standards, frameworks, and regulations
o IEC-62443
o NCSC CAF
o EU Cyber Resilience Act
• Working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.
• Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.
