Site Quality Manager – HVDC Project (Netherlands)

Project Overview:




Join a high-profile energy infrastructure project connecting offshore wind energy to the mainland via an HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) system. Based near Rotterdam, this role supports a major step in the Netherlands’ renewable energy transition.




Role Summary:




As Site Quality Manager, you’ll oversee all quality-related activities on-site, ensuring that construction, installation, and commissioning processes meet both regulatory and project-specific standards. You’ll act as the key interface between the client, contractors, and internal teams for quality assurance and compliance matters.




Key Responsibilities:




Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP).




Conduct inspections, audits, and quality reviews throughout construction and commissioning phases.




Liaise with engineering, HSE, and construction teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.




Ensure non-conformities are tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.




Manage documentation and quality reporting in compliance with project and regulatory requirements.




Serve as the main point of contact for quality matters with subcontractors and stakeholders.




Required Experience & Skills:




Proven experience in a Site Quality Manager or similar QA/QC role on large infrastructure or energy projects (HVDC, power transmission, or offshore wind preferred).




Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction-related QA/QC standards.




Ability to lead site audits and manage quality documentation processes.




Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.




Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
