Are you a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter with a passion for hydraulics and assembly work? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team at my clients Canning Vale workshop. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to work with us from Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and Saturday work.
Job Details:
Location: Canning Vale workshop
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 10-hour days (Friday: 6 AM to 2 PM)
Overtime: Additional 1.5 hours from Monday to Thursday
Saturday Work: Optional, with extra compensation
Required: Forklift experience
Preferred: HR Drivers license
Responsibilities:
Assembling and disassembling hydraulic units
Working on blowout and wireline valves
Maintaining and repairing hydraulic equipment
Ensuring high-quality standards in all assembly work
Collaborating with the team to meet production goals
Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
Proven experience in hydraulics assembly and disassembly
Familiarity with blowout and wireline valves
Proficiency in operating a forklift
HR license (preferred, but not mandatory)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays

As a crucial member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our essential equipment. Key Responsibilities:· Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment, including hydraulic press making machines, reformers, gearboxes, machine toning, welding machines, and cable bolt machines.· Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.· Adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.· Collaborating with the maintenance team to carry out preventive maintenance procedures.· Demonstrating a strong understanding of conveyor systems to facilitate smooth operations. Requirements:· Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance with a strong troubleshooting background.· Ability to work Mon-Fri from 2 pm to 10 pm, with potential for overtime when required.· Immediate availability for an immediate start.· Willingness to work morning shifts (6 am - 2 pm) during the first four weeks for training purposes.· Familiarity with operating and maintaining hydraulic press making machines, reformers, gearboxes, welding machines, and cable bolt machines.· Knowledge of conveyor systems will be advantageous.
