Shift Pattern: 14 days on / 14 days off
Option to Extend: Up to 3 months
Travel: Approx. 12 days per month

Overview
A leading renewable energy developer is seeking experienced Client Representatives to support the Export Cable Installation (ECI) scope for a major offshore wind project. Each representative will oversee specific work packages throughout the year, with individual schedules agreed between the project team and the representatives.
This role is key to ensuring that offshore installation works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and core values.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate daily records of all offshore installation activities during the execution phase.
Verify that all contractor operations follow approved procedures and risk assessments.
Ensure contractors proactively manage safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Lead by example and promote the company’s safety and ethical values on-site.
Participate in safety walks, toolbox talks, and daily coordination meetings.
Conduct on-site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with approved RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
Complete and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), ensuring sign-off from relevant parties.
Report incidents and safety observations via the company’s reporting system, following project HSE guidelines.
Intervene or stop operations if any safety, quality, or procedural breaches occur.
Key Deliverables
Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) covering load-out, transit, positioning, and installation activities.
Accurate documentation of all installation-related activities and observations.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
Mandatory:
Valid GWO Certificates:
Sea Survival
Working at Heights
Enhanced First Aid (new requirement for all ECI representatives)
Fire Awareness
Manual Handling
Valid offshore medical certificate, including Chester step test.
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent HSE management training).
Minimum 2 years of relevant offshore cable installation or similar experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications, plus experience with project reporting and HSE systems.
Recommended:
Marine Awareness or equivalent qualification relevant to offshore operations.
IT & Equipment Requirements
Consultants must supply their own PC and/or smartphone.
Devices must be updated with the latest operating system version.
Consultants must permit installation of company security and management software on devices used for project work.
Upon completion of the contract, all company apps and data must be removed via the IT Service Desk.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Consultants must bring their own safety boots.
All other PPE will be provided by the client.
Work Conditions
Offshore rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off.
