Description
We are seeking a hands-on, dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and optimize our client's data centre operational strategy, service delivery, and infrastructure performance. This role is critical in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Oversee all aspects of data centre operations including facility management, IT systems, and service delivery.
• Develop and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality installation, commissioning, and maintenance of infrastructure.
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to improve operational performance and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across workflows, resource planning, and cost optimization.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and budgeting in collaboration with finance and executive leadership.
Service Delivery & Quality Assurance
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs for internal and external customers.
• Monitor and improve service quality, uptime, and incident response protocols.
• Implement process improvements and automation to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, MAS, BNM).
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Conduct regular self-assessments and audits to mitigate operational risks.
Team Development & Stakeholder Engagement
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams across operations and service functions.
• Act as a key liaison between departments, vendors, and clients.
• Represent the organization at industry events and drive regional alignment.

• Proficient in data analysis, budgeting, and performance optimization.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, lean, and agile environments.
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in leading operations or service delivery, preferably in data centre or telecommunications.
• Proven leadership in managing mission-critical infrastructure and large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices, compliance frameworks, and operational risk management.
