Skills & Education Coordinator

We are looking for a Skills and Education Co-ordinator to support our client in

the development of links with the education community in

Lincolnshire to raise awareness of the energy industry and attract

future applicants for early career programmes.


To work as the key contact for specified Energy businesses to support the

delivery of early career programmes by providing advice and

guidance and ensure quality of learning is achieved.


Responsibilities

Work as the key contact to enable the development of early career

talent and upskilling of current employees utilising

Apprenticeship Standards.

Provide advice and guidance to businesses in the delivery of apprenticeships to ensure

quality of learning outcomes.

Support in the identification of training providers ensuring due diligence and ongoing monitoring of

delivery is completed.

Undertake awarding body registration and certification activities for learners.

Support the co-ordination of links with the local Lincoln Energy community working with schools,

colleges and universities to develop relationships and delivery of initiatives to attract entry level talent to the

Lincoln business early career programmes.

Encourage best practice and promote Energy Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures.

Any other duties as requested by management.


Essential Criteria

Knowledge and experience of delivering apprenticeship training and support to employers.

Knowledge of Government Funded training.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.

Excellent IT knowledge & skills including using electronic portfolio system.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.


Desirable Criteria

Experience of working with local schools, colleges and universities in the development of and delivery of

initiatives/materials to promote early career opportunities.


Other requirements:

Be able to work flexible hours and locations (within reason), as required.

Full driving licence.
