Warehouse Coordinator - Hibikinada

Spencer Ogden is seeking a proactive and organised Warehouse Coordinator to join one of our global OEM clients to support a large scale and exciting offshore wind projects in Japan.

In this role, you will be supporting the Site Manager in material planning and coordinating warehouse deliveries on site. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in large scale projects and work with a globally renowned company.

The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, Japanese as an additional benefit, but have experienced in Warehouse Coordination for other wind projects. 

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: August 2025
  • Contract Duration: 3-6 months (extension dependent on performance)
  • Location: Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan (Onshore)
  • Working Schedule: 5 days a week (Mon to Fri), 8 hours a day 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up materials and components orders to ensure smooth pre assembly completion
  • Control the stock levels and updates tower and nacelle tracker
  • Monitors Microsoft forms for Kit set and parts request. 
  • Work directly with site planner, tower and nacelle supervisors to assure on time availability of kit sets. 
  • Utilize and monitor material planning procedures ensuring consistent delivery.
  • Support finance department with past due/pending invoices.
  • Work with suppliers to continuously improve performance on inventory levels and lead-times.
  • Receive and unload freight and checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verify items received with purchase order; wraps, packages, and ships supplies; delivers and retrieves supplies to and from work or storage areas; tags and issues supplies; stocks shelves and rotates inventory; may receive, store, and ship flammable, explosive or caustic and hazardous material; 
  • Keeps GR and GI updated on SAP.
  • Ensures Bin location accuracy on SAP and excel control. 
  • Supports warehouse supervisor with any communication need It in local language with warehouse workers.  

Experience & Qualifications Needed: 
  • Proven working experience as Warehouse coordinator or similar supply chain job. 
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems (SAP or other ERPs)
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 Years experience on Inventory Management
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (Japanese language added benefit)
  • Good Excel Skills
