This company is a progressive developer and operator of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage facilities across California, New York, and Texas. The Analyst role focuses on overseeing the contractor safety programs, ensuring the well-being of staff, contractors, and visitors.The ideal candidate for this position is a reliable, self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, capable of effective collaboration and communication within a team. They will operate with minimal supervision, contributing to the development, implementation, and support of the Contractor Safety Program within the renewable energy sector, covering solar, battery energy storage systems, and wind projects.This Analyst will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing company-wide contractor safety programs, including the Contractor Drug & Alcohol Program, Contractor Safety Program, and Contractor Site Safety Orientation Program. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety policies and procedures are adhered to during pre-qualification, RFP, and construction phases. Additionally, the Analyst will mentor and guide Safety Coordinators responsible for implementing the contractor program in Operations.The role is a hybrid position, combining remote work with regular day trips to construction facilities in Southern California (Mojave, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside County). The individual needs to be based within driving distance of Southern California sites. Potential travel to additional projects in New York or Texas may be required over time.This is a newly created role, and the Analyst will be a key member of the Health & Safety team at this company.QualificationsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate the current state of safety requirements for contractors to ensure alignment with company and stakeholder needs.Develop, implement, and maintain written contractor safety programs in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.Recommend procedures, standards, and guidelines related to contractor safety, injury prevention, and illness programs.Collaborate with project managers and construction site managers to manage and address potential risk and safety issues effectively.Support Site Managers in contractor safety performance evaluations, incident root cause analyses, job site safety, and recordkeeping.Oversee the Drug and Alcohol program for contractors, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.Design and maintain procedures related to safety requirements in the contractor selection process.Report safety performance to senior leadership.Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.Conduct inspections and audits as directed on company sites.Periodic overnight travel to job sites and meetings may be required. QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with safety management system software.Excellent written communication skills with the ability to generate and deliver safety reports.Project management, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring safe work on all projects. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, EHS/HSE, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.Six years of relevant construction experience.Five years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing safety programs, contractor programs, and incident prevention.Proficient understanding of construction safety standards and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA).Familiarity with contracting processes. Title: Senior Director of Construction Department: EPCSENIOR DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTIONESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES · Lead the internal construction teams in the design and successful build out of solar PV solutions;· Continuously measure and improve operational excellence, adapt and replicate best industry practices across business units to create highly competitive EPC organization;· Be accountable to develop and successfully execute on cost reduction programs through optimi-zation of people, processes, and technologies;· Cooperation with Project Management and Engineering team to improve design efficiency in terms of cost reduction through value engineering and to resolve technical issues on site;· Working with Procurement team and process, while working closely with counterparts in other geographical regions to develop synergies and standardize components;· Work closely with the Project Control and Cost Management teams to successfully bid and win large scale ground mount PV power plants· Provide construction expertise and insight to accurately gauge project potential and highlight key risk areas;· Manage day-to-day operations through an effective action-oriented approach, provide executive level mentorship and leadership· to employees within the Construction team;· Provide weekly updates and summary reports of key issues and project status to top manage-ment in Korea;· Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assign-ment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position; and· Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Executive Management. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION · Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related field is preferred· Graduate degree in engineering or another related field is highly preferred· Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering or construction· Minimum of 12 years of experience in solar development· Extensive track record of successfully designing and building large scale solar power plants, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results· Detailed knowledge and understanding of all phases of the solar PV power plant development, including engineering, procurement, and construction and project management· Experience working with project developers and understanding of the RFP process· Have insight to highlight key risk factors and provide and deliver best EPC cost estimates· Solid experience with current solar EPC tools and processes, and remain current on best prac-tices and trends in the industry· Demonstrated track record of initiating programs that lead to significant cost reduction and/or performance improvement· Understanding of solar module manufacturing and O&M experience is a plus· Ability to manage and lead large technical organizations, including significant experience man-aging numerous suppliers and contractors· Capability to interact with leadership cross-culturally, both within and outside the organization· Have both long-term strategic perspective and near-term action orientation, strong desire to continuously improve and push limits· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills· Strong team player with high degree of professionalism in which one conducts self at all times
