They will operate with minimal supervision, contributing to the development, implementation, and support of the Contractor Safety Program within the renewable energy sector, covering solar, battery energy storage systems, and wind projects.
This Analyst will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing company-wide contractor safety programs, including the Contractor Drug & Alcohol Program, Contractor Safety Program, and Contractor Site Safety Orientation Program. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety policies and procedures are adhered to during pre-qualification, RFP, and construction phases. Additionally, the Analyst will mentor and guide Safety Coordinators responsible for implementing the contractor program in Operations.
The role is a hybrid position, combining remote work with regular day trips to construction facilities in Southern California (Mojave, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside County). The individual needs to be based within driving distance of Southern California sites. Potential travel to additional projects in New York or Texas may be required over time.

The successful candidate will work closely with the clients Investment Team to provide grid-related advice and services on existing and new investment opportunities throughout the development cycle and across multiple technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, solar and energy storage. In the clients current development pipeline of onshore wind projects, there is a significant value-add opportunity to provide strategic advice and to help maximise success for the connection of projects. There is also an opportunity to deliver grid connection solutions across a variety of new technology developments, including energy storage, repowering, solar and to explore the co-location of batteries with wind and solar. Most of the company's facilities are located in California. Under the direction of the Environmental Compliance Supervisor, this position will primarily engage in providing environmental compliance support to the EHS, construction and operations teams during the late-stage development and construction phase of renewable assets portfolio in California and other states as projects are constructed.This role is a full-time and hybrid position, working remotely (from home) and will be based out of Southern California (Kern County, Los Angeles County, San Diego County areas preferred) making as needed day trips to the projects to support compliance activities. The individual needs to be located within driving distance to each of the facilities to be accessible for the required as needed day trips to the projects. The Project Construction Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the pre-planning and execution for the client's renewables and power portfolio. In addition to project-supporting tasks, the position will support continuous improvement initiatives such as documenting and improving processes and procedures, market industry knowledge. The Senior Electrical Engineer (Electrical SME) will be responsible for the electrical engineering scope of solar PV and battery storage projects in late-stage development, construction and operation. Responsibilities include electrical design review, support of project engineers in terms of electrical engineering matters, create technical specifications for owner furnished equipment, standardization of electrical designs and scope of work, electrical test report review, field quality control and field punch list development. The Senior Electrical Engineer (Electrical SME) will join a project execution team and serve as the primary resource to the project engineers for all electrical engineering matters of assigned projects and process improvement tasks. Excellent communication, task management and planning skills are needed, in addition to technical breadth. Responsible for the construction planning of the construction related activities of the subcontractor and/or self-perform to confirm the completion of contractual construction activities. Maintains continuity of safety, job progress and maximizes efficiencies related to the assigned area. - Responsible for the oversight of the following project work activities: site earthwork and layout, concrete flatwork and foundation, structural steel, steel and wood framing, interior finishes, millwork, roofing, plumbing, HVAC systems, fire protection, and commercial electrical systems. - Responsible for overall supervision of construction effort, which includes: safety, productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, materials management, scheduling, design, and contractual performance of the project. - Responsible for subcontractor contractual compliance and/or self-perform on designated construction related activities. - Build effective client and subcontractor relationships. Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, and other contractors. - Responsible for managing QA/QC documents, inspection logs, as built drawings. - Support the completion of turnover packages. - Collaborate with project management to develop and implement project procedures, working documents, and standards. - Authorize purchase requisitions, field design change requests, etc., under supervision of Construction Manager and Project Manager. - Responsible for project safety. Reviews and audits site specific safety documentation, including Pre-Task Analysis (PTAs) and Task Safety Observations (TSOs) on a regular basis. - Complete daily field reports and take daily pictures to document construction progress. - Assess future work activities and identify any concerns with work plans by utilizing subcontractors 3-week look ahead report. - Develop a marked-up and as-built set of drawings to produce the record set documents, and answer RFIs with assistance from Assistant Project Manager or Field Engineer. - Direct and manage subcontractor or self-preform subsidiaries as necessary to comply with the established project schedule, and track and verify progress on an installed quantity and work hour basis. - Oversee the construction of complete buildings and/or structures. - Develop punch lists of items out of compliance or not completed. - Verify the most current drawing revisions are being used in the field. - Utilize project construction management tool(s). - Read, interpret, and understand civil, foundation, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.- Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standardsRequirements:- Bachelor Degree and 7 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on similar projects. Required or - Associate Degree and 9 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on similar projects. Required or - High School Diploma/GED and 11 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on similar projects.
