My client is a global leading energy company who meet the demand for energy in over 90 countries and protect our climate at the same time. With over 92,000 dedicated employees, they not only generate electricity for over 16% of the world's population, but also use their technology to protect people and the environment. They are looking for an individual who is able to assist them in a 2 year project who will be responsible for but not limited to: 

 - Determining solution, product and process-related quality requirements from customer contracts / R&D orders and other requirements, track them and support them "hands-on" in fulfilling them.

- You plan all QM activities in the projects, check the appropriateness and effectiveness of the Q measures, track them and support the project teams in their implementation

- Planning and implementation of product safety standards (e.g. EU/CE certifications)

- You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and commissioning of project, product and process audits as well as the preparation, coordination and execution of tests and acceptances in cooperation with internal and external customers, suppliers and testing institutions

- If necessary, you will support the purchasing organization, for example, in the development and qualification of suppliers and materials

- In addition, you will be responsible for active participation in the planning and implementation of project milestones and quality gates, risk management, as well as controlling the punctual execution and quality of content of milestone and risk meetings, including measure controlling

- In the event of non-conformance events, you will drive structured problem-solving processes with the aim of sustainable continuous improvement of our solutions and processes

-You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance with specified processes (including coaching of the project teams) and actively contributing lessons learned

- You will collect key figures to measure product/service and process quality and ensure the planning and assurance of quality reporting

-You will be actively involved in general project management and project-specific solution/product development

 

 

What you bring to the table

- You have successfully completed your master's degree in electrical engineering or comparable and have never lost sight of the operational technical focus in your work

- In addition, you have already gained several years of professional experience in the industrial plant business (e.g. as a (partial) project manager, (lead) engineer) and ideally already have experience as a test field engineer and/or commissioning engineer

- You have good knowledge of quality management methodologies (e.g. FMEA, 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Lessons Learned, ...) of the QM standards, as well as experience in conducting audits and moderating QM methods

- You have knowledge of drive, energy and automation technology as well as knowledge of norms and standards in plant engineering

- Knowledge of the processes, standards and rules for maritime systems and facilities is an advantage

- You have good communication/teamwork skills and assertiveness as well as ideally intercultural experience with foreign partners and customers, you never retreat solely to demanding results, but always help responsibly and service-oriented to ensure that these results can be achieved.

- You are willing to travel worldwide

- Fluent in written and spoken German and English round off your profile
