Our client is well placed to support the energy transition with their market leading position as experts in power generation and transmission infrastructure.

 

About the role:

Our client is currently seeking an experineced Planner to join their team based on site, in Perth's metro south of the river, to assist in developing and maintaining project schedules for a battery storage facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with project stakeholders including clients, vendors, project teams and sub-contractors in relation to project tracking.
  • Project monitoring across time, cost, quality, resources and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Report resource tracking, ensuring that controls report cost transparency and forecasting data for the project.
  • Communicating planned activity on a weekly basis to the team, including analysis of what was completed in prior week and what remains pending.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6 software.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of planning, audit, review processes, risk assessment and management methodologies.
  • Excellent organisational and time management, with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Organisation skills to coordinate multiple tasks on multiple projects in accordance with the overall project plan.
  • Track record of achievements in a project planning or project controls role, having demonstrated strategic input which contributed to the success of a major project.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, and other programs relevant to this position.
