4 x Client Representatives – Monopile Installation (Start: February 2026)

 

 

 

4 x Client Representatives – Secondary Steel Installation (Start: March 2026)

 

 

 

4 x Client Representatives – SOV (Commissioning) (Start: April 2026)

 

 

 

Objective

 

 

 

The Client Representative will oversee offshore foundation installation activities, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with:

 

 

 

Approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

 

 

 

Any approved Management of Change (MoC) issued during project execution

 

 

 

Project quality, safety (QHSE), and schedule requirements

 

 

 

The role requires proactive supervision, accurate daily reporting, timely issue escalation, and professional conduct in line with the project’s core values and standards.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Compliance Oversight

 

 

 

Review, understand, and stay updated on approved RAMS and QHSE documentation prior to and during the execution phase.

 

 

 

Ensure that the installation contractor operates in compliance with approved RAMS and MoCs.

 

 

 

Monitor safety performance, attend heavy lift and safety meetings, and verify implementation of risk mitigations and control measures.

 

 

 

2. Daily Progress and Reporting

 

 

 

Monitor and record offshore foundation installation and vessel operations.

 

 

 

Prepare, validate, and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) in accordance with project requirements.

 

 

 

Ensure all reports are complete, accurate, and signed off by the relevant parties.

 

 

 

3. Coordination and Communication

 

 

 

Participate in daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks, and operational briefings.

 

 

 

Act as the on-site point of contact between the project management team, contractors, and third parties (e.g., Marine Warranty Surveyors).

 

 

 

Facilitate effective communication, highlight issues, and support prompt resolution of operational or safety concerns.

 

 

 

4. QHSE Oversight

 

 

 

Conduct and participate in safety walks with the project and contractor HSE teams.

 

 

 

Monitor incident reporting, follow up on investigation outcomes, and promote lessons learned.

 

 

 

Support a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to project QHSE requirements.

 

 

 

5. Quality Assurance

 

 

 

Monitor compliance with project Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards.

 

 

 

Conduct inspections, identify deviations or quality issues, and support corrective actions.

 

 

 

Review and, where required, sign off on as-built documentation and installation records.

 

 

 

6. Documentation and Administration

 

 

 

Maintain accurate and detailed records, including daily logs, deviations, incidents, and Synergi (or equivalent) reports.

 

 

 

Review and approve documentation and timesheets for project contractors (excluding the main installation contractor).

 

 

 

Submit all required documentation in line with project procedures and deadlines.

 

 

 

Decision Authority & Responsibility

 

 

 

The Client Representative is responsible for observing and verifying offshore works to ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards.

 

 

 

While the role carries no contractual authority, the Client Representative is empowered to intervene or stop work in cases of:

 

 

 

Safety or environmental risk

 

 

 

Quality non-conformance

 

 

 

Breach of approved RAMS or procedures

Qualifications

 

Essential:

 

 

 

Proven offshore wind experience, preferably in foundation or secondary steel installation.

 

 

 

Strong understanding of RAMS, offshore QHSE practices, and marine installation methodologies.

 

 

 

Excellent coordination and communication skills within multi-stakeholder environments.

 

 

 

IT proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite; digital reporting tools such as DPR and Synergi).

 

 

 

Required Certifications:

 

 

 

GWO Courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid (EFA), Fire Awareness, Manual Handling

 

 

 

Medical: Valid offshore medical certificate including Chester Step Test

 

 

 

Safety & Survival: HUET / STCW 2010 / OPITO BOSIET with EBS (STASS, HEED, or equivalent)

 

 

 

HSE Training: IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent recognized HSE training

 

 

 

Preferred:

 

 

 

Previous experience with large-scale offshore wind installation projects

 

 

 

Marine awareness training relevant to offshore operations

 

 

 

Experience with digital QHSE reporting systems and quality documentation
