Job Title: Coiled Tubing (CT) Supervisor – Deepwater Drilling Campaign (Philippines)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Coiled Tubing Supervisor for a prestigious deepwater gas development campaign offshore the Philippines. This pivotal role involves overseeing safe and effective well intervention and completion operations aboard a 6th-gen drillship equipped with managed pressure drilling systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all CT operations during the well intervention phase on the drillship/semi-sub.
  • Implement well programs and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to company HSE policies.
  • Coordinate with Completion Engineers, Service Company Engineers, and Drilling Supervisors for pre-job planning.
  • Manage CT rig-up/rig-down, surface pressure control, and BOP stack interface.
  • Oversee equipment such as injector heads, reel units, spooling, and pressure control systems
  • Supervise nitrification, acid stimulation, and fishing operations as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records for CT strings, downhole tools, and hydraulic systems.
  • Mentor coiled tubing operators and junior team members.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of job logs, KPIs, operational delays, and lessons learned.
  • Liaise with OEMs and third-party vendors for tools, additives, and emergency support.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in offshore CT operations, including minimum 2 years in a supervisory role on deepwater wells.
  • Expertise in through-tubing fishing, cement squeezing, high-pressure jetting, and cleanouts.
  • IWCF Well Control – Level 4 (Supervisor) certification for Surface & Subsea Stack.
  • Must have BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, H2S, and valid Offshore Medical (OGUK).
  • Knowledge of DNV/ABS-classed drillships and rigless well intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with API 16ST, 6A, and RP 17 standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in MPD environments and real-time hydraulics modeling software.
  • Familiarity with subsea tieback procedures and tree interfacing.
  • Background in high-rate gas well operations in carbonate reservoirs.
