About the Role

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our project Delivery team. This role will play a key part in managing project contracts and administering associated project controls to support the construction and commissioning of large, complex renewables infrastructure projects in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end contract suite on large scale, complex renewables projects in construction.
  • Support project leadership to ensure contract terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Provide advice and support the negotiation of contract variations and amendments during construction.
  • Maintain control processes and develop systems to manage contract documents and correspondence.
  • Build good working relationships with contractor counterparts, focusing on prompt resolution of issues while protecting our interests.
  • Support project and executive leadership in handling any claims escalation or disputes processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Graduate level degree in law, business, or a relevant field; a legal background is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably with exposure to renewable energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex contractual situations and provide practical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Melbourne (preference) or Sydney
