At the end of October, our Singapore Renewables team attended the largest onshore and offshore Wind Energy event in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the ASEAN Wind Energy 2022. As one of the world’s most prestigious international wind power events, this event constantly breaks new ground and has set a precedent in Southeast Asia’s ever-growing renewable energy community.
Over the course of the two-day exhibition, the team was able to meet with many of their clients in person across the region from businesses such as Blue Water Shipping and Keppel as well as a few of their new clients such as Pondera.
This year also provided a great platform and opportunity for our Head of Asia Perm, Scarlet Lee who hosted a keynote presentation on The Importance of DE&I when it comes to Staff Retention in the Renewables Sector. This led to topical discussions with industry leaders around challenges the industry is faced with and how these can be overcome.
We look forward to attending future events.
