The New Role Involves:
• Carrying out and completing preventative and reactive maintenance requirements on live projects
• Planning for major and routine outages in line with client and company requirements
• Liase with team members in recognising improvements and efficiencies in activities, processes, and plant
• Recording daily operational information, completing service orders, stocktaking, ordering parts and materials

Electrical qualification - A-Grade Electrical and Australian recognised
Current First Aid, CPR and LVR certificate
Forklift licence, High Voltage Switching and Dual trade mechanical all desirable

Electrical Testing & Commissioning Specialist is responsible for directing commissioning and testing activities in the field. This position is responsible for providing commissioning and testing solutions. Prepare and recommend testing & commissioning solutions to the Project Manager or client. Delivers solutions to Project Manager or Senior Engineer to address future client needs and provide cost analysis on testing solutions. Ensures the performance of all field testing on substation equipment is completed accurately and safely. Performs demonstration tests, as required, which are a series of functional tests designed to simulate real world conditions to ensure proper operation of yard equipment. Develops and executes substation equipment test procedures. Provide technical instruction, mentoring, guidance with regard to substation systems and electrical power systems to field testing technicians. Develop testing & commissioning departmental and project requirements. Ensure compliance of testing QA/QC process. Regularly meet and correspond with clients and outside personnel with responsibility to act independently on technical matters related to testing & commissioning. Prepare electrical equipment: packaged equipment specifications and data sheets, Request for Qualifications (RFQ's), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
