Electrical Testing & Commissioning Specialist is responsible for directing commissioning and testing activities in the field. This position is responsible for providing commissioning and testing solutions.

  • Prepare and recommend testing & commissioning solutions to the Project Manager or client.

     

  • Delivers solutions to Project Manager or Senior Engineer to address future client needs and provide cost analysis on testing solutions.

     

  • Ensures the performance of all field testing on substation equipment is completed accurately and safely.

     

  • Performs demonstration tests, as required, which are a series of functional tests designed to simulate real world conditions to ensure proper operation of yard equipment.

     

  • Develops and executes substation equipment test procedures.

     

  • Provide technical instruction, mentoring, guidance with regard to substation systems and electrical power systems to field testing technicians.

     

  • Develop testing & commissioning departmental and project requirements.

     

  • Ensure compliance of testing QA/QC process.

     

  • Regularly meet and correspond with clients and outside personnel with responsibility to act independently on technical matters related to testing & commissioning.

     

  • Manages marketing efforts for key pursuits.

     

  • Consults with clients on testing and commissioning projects.

     

  • Maintains client relationships with client field personnel.

Summary: Experienced Mechanical Fitters with specialized expertise in steam turbines for power generation.Seeking skilled professionals who are EU nationals for steam turbine outage projects.Responsible for executing mechanical tasks during maintenance and overhauls.Proficient in assembling, disassembling, and troubleshooting steam turbine components.Contribute to outage efficiency, safety compliance, and project success.Responsibilities: Execute mechanical tasks during steam turbine outage projects.Assemble, disassemble, and inspect steam turbine components.Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as required.Collaborate within the outage team to ensure seamless execution.Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and established procedures.Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues during outages.Provide specialized knowledge in steam turbine systems and components.Contribute to accurate documentation and reporting of work.Qualifications: MUST HAVE VCA OR SIMILAR HEALTH AND SAFETY PASSPORTRelevant technical qualification or mechanical engineering apprenticeship.  Proven experience in mechanical fitting for steam turbines.Familiarity with assembling, disassembling, and inspecting turbine components.Ability to work effectively within an outage team.Strong commitment to safety and compliance with protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Effective communication skills within a collaborative environment.Must be an EU national eligible to work in Germany. Kind Regards,
