Description:The Assistant Project Controls Specialist will support all aspects of project controls and reporting, including, project change management, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control. Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining a cost management reporting data warehouse to produce valuable program controls reports and data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • May be required to obtain an OSHA 10 hour safety certification.

Enhancing the Safety Culture of client Employees and Contractors. Responsibilites:Maintain compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, client EHS Standards, and other requirements adopted by the business.Implement Annual Work Plans to achieve safety objectives and goals, with the approval of US SBU T&D EHS Manager.Active involvement in the Annual Program of Internal and External client EHS Audits, Assessments and Action. Plan follow up.Ensure hierarchy of controls in General Hazard Assessment and Risk Analysis, Job Hazard Analysis and Job Safety Analysis. Proactive participation in the Incident Management Program per client EHS Standards/OSHA. With a focus of reporting and investigating Non-Injury SIP events using TapRoot Methodology.Develop and deliver Health and Safety Orientation and training programs for client Indiana employees.Oversee the implementation of the Proactive Safety Program. Visit job sites and facilities to conduct Safety Walks, Work Activity Observations, Safety Inspections, and follow up in due time and form.Active participation in cross functional activities with client Ohio (T&D) EHS Team. Provide leadership and technical expertise for Health and Safety programs for client and Contractor Employees with a primary focus in the field.
