Senior / Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: South Korea


We are representing a global renewable energy technology organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects in South Korea. This is a newly created role and will play a key part in building and strengthening local project delivery capability. The successful candidate will manage projects end-to-end, from contract handover through execution and completion, working closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for renewable energy projects in Korea, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for complex, large-scale projects
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor progress and provide regular project reporting to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, contractual requirements, and internal standards
  • Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners to support successful outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies
  • Lead project meetings and support effective decision-making


Experiences Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven track record managing renewable energy projects in South Korea
  • Strong experience in large-scale project delivery, ideally within wind (onshore or offshore) and/or grid-scale BESS
  • Experience working with OEMs, developers, or EPC contractors
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrix environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional fluency in Korean and English, required to work with local stakeholders and global teams
  • Willingness to travel as required
