1.2 JOB OVERVIEW
This position is part of a multidisciplinary project team consisting of client staff, consultants, and contractors, and reports directly to the Commissioning Manager. The WTG Supervisor & SAP will be responsible for wind turbine–related commissioning activities, as well as 66kV WTG switchgear operations.
The role is initially based onshore at the wind turbine marshalling harbour in the Netherlands for 2–3 rotations for onboarding and high-voltage authorization, followed by offshore work on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV). The position follows a 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off rotation, with 12-hour shifts on either day or night shift.

1.3 RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise onshore and offshore commissioning activities
Ensure outstanding works and quality issues are identified and reported
Supervise mechanical and electrical completion
Ensure compliance with project HSSE requirements and local legislation
Ensure work is performed in accordance with Employer requirements
Ensure commissioning tests are performed and documented according to procedures and templates
Report commissioning progress through daily progress reports
Support proactive management, coordination, and communication between all parties
Ensure offshore Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) are applied
Perform HV switching operations when required
1.4 KEY TASKS
Perform commissioning walk-downs together with the turbine supplier
Report quality issues in coordination with the Quality department
Report HSSE issues and observations
Day-to-day supervision of turbine commissioning activities
Verify that all tests are completed and documented correctly
Participate in commissioning and performance tests
Monitor and document sub-system performance tests
Support preparation and tracking of snagging lists
Comply with permit-to-work and electrical safety rules
Maintain safety standards in line with project HSSE guidelines
Participate in daily site meetings
Verify commissioning documentation meets Employer requirements
Support transfer of assets to Operations & Maintenance
Participate in quality performance data collection and analysis
Provide end-of-shift handover reports
1.5 TASKS AS HV SAP (AS PER NEN 3840)
Perform switching operations on 66kV WTG switchgear
Coordinate HV operations with the onshore control engineer
Write and/or review switching protocols as required
Coordinate closely with the turbine supplier’s HV team on switching plans
1.6 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong background in wind turbine commissioning
Strong background as HV SAP (minimum 66kV)
Strong QHSSE knowledge and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the wind industry (preferred)
Adaptable team player with strong communication skills
Proficient in spoken and written English
Basic MS Office skills
Willingness to work day or night shifts
Experience with 66kV switching preferred
Valid GWO certifications
Knowledge of Dutch electrical standards preferred (NEN 3140 & NEN 3840)
