Last week was Zero Waste Week, which reinforced our need to consider the environmental impact of waste. We decided to focus on plastic waste, given our ongoing partnership with Seven Clean Seas.
Facts & Figures
Plastic production has been forecast to grow by 60% by 2030, but currently less than 30% is recycled (Center for International Environmental Law, 2019).
We absolutely love partnering with incredible companies that want to make an impact through their day-to-day operations. That's why we couldn't be more thrilled to partner with Spencer Ogden! With every placement, we remove 1kg of plastic through our project in Bintan, Indonesia. Partnerships like these allow us to do what we do best, clean our oceans.
Trisha Mascarenhas, Head of Communications at Seven Clean Seas
We couldn’t be prouder of our continued partnership with Seven Clean Seas to support permanent change in some of most polluted areas of the world. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the natural environment in which we live and work!
