SAP OTC Consultant

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

The Client

The role is for a reputable energy company in Malaysia. The role is open to local Malaysian only.  


  • Required to work closely with business users and stakeholders and responsible for the successful delivery of projects and change request as well as to grasp business challenges and propose improvements accordingly.
  • Coordinate/conduct for UAT and ensure sign off from the users are obtained.
  • Able to expedite SIT & UAT Testing. 
  • Able to perform Regression testing for common programs.
  • Support lead in managing the operations of AMS and resolve support tickets raised by company’s business users across the region.
  • Able to review authorization and where necessary, required to create task to provide access if new function.
  • In adherence to template process and policy, required to prepare Blueprint documents, Configuration document, Functional Specification.

The ideal candidate is someone who has skills and requirements such as:  

  • Experienced in working with supporting users with SAP proficiency in SD/OTC module.
  • Possess understanding of cross module integration with PTP and RTR.
  • Extensive knowledge with SD/OTC module Masters, Tables, Configuration & User Exits.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the processes in Order-to-Cash including contract management, order management, pricing, billing, and delivery.
  • 4-5 years of knowledge on SAP ECC6 Support with hands-on experience.
  • Well versed with MS Office applications for documentation.
  • Able to perform Root Cause Analysis and propose permanent solutions and propose Counter Measures for Business Continuity.
  • Resolve and close Incident, Service Request and Problems in adherence to SLA.
  • Knowledge on HANA will be an additional advantage.  
  • Someone with a strong interpersonal skills.
