Spencer Ogden is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to support a various substation projects in Singapore on a 12 month contract basis to lead and coordinate all engineering activities for assignments starting from Mid February 2024.

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Contract Duration: 12 months from start date with potential for extension.
  • Working Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (Mon - Fri)
  • Location: Singapore - Occasional travel to various site in Singapore

Main Responsibilites:

  • Handling various GIS Projects across Singapore ranging from 66mw to 400 mw
  • Receiving and checking off on equipment, organising logistics and organising contractors
  • Being there for new sites and for maintenance of sites for 3-4 months and rotating
  • Working with Technical Advisors on GIS (Gas insulated switch gear) on coupling work
  • Work with LEWs for testing and commissioning phases

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor training in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in Service Experience Power sectors with focus on 66KV and above transmission network .
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of insert specific product and industry/sector.
  • Good understanding of the Transmission regulations and current H&S legislation
  • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong commu-nication skills.
  • Skills - Leadership skill to lead a Project Ste team and customer interaction
