We're looking for motivated entry-level Junior Sales Consultants to join our Houston team to grow our sales footprint within the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Infrastructure, and Environmental sectors across America.

The Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for leading teams to deliver complex geotechnical engineering projects.The successful candidate will share a responsibility for meeting our ambitious growth objectives in the rapidly growing renewables business. Our team members and colleagues worldwide will support you to be part of the exciting movement in the dynamic wind industry.Are you ready to contribute your expertise in our goal, to transition Ireland to green energy?Key Responsibilities and Duties: Lead and manage geosciences work packages for offshore wind developments, through coordination with the geoscience package management lead, including but not limited to: Strategy and management plan preparationDevelopment of survey specificationsPreparation of procurement documentationTender management and evaluationSurvey managementData and package interfaces managementDeliverables review, ensuring all deliverables are provided in compliance with approved instructions, procedures and policies. Receive and respond to enquiries of a geoscience nature relating to prospects in Ireland and prepare tenders and proposals as required, with support from the ground Geoteam as required. ???????Contribute to the review of geotechnical designs, method statements and submissions by third parties to ensure geotechnical issues are accounted for.Support a variety of engineering analyses including foundation design, leg penetration/extraction analysis, drivability analyses, geotechnical interpretations and cable route assessments.Contribute to the operations in the wider group Geoteam, which may include provision of line management, coaching and mentoring of junior engineersTake a lead in business development activities.Attend conferences, write and delivering technical papers, represent OWC and promote our skills and competencies in the offshore wind sector. Requirements: Engineering and or Geology degreeAt least 3 years' experience as a geotechnical engineer in the design and management of geosciences aspects within the offshore wind industry.Excellent geotechnical engineering knowledge with experience in managing small teams to deliver projects for clients.Ability to co-ordinate, direct and lead projects and work under own initiative with minimum supervision.Experienced in the scoping, management, supervision and interpretation of offshore site investigations.Experience of jack-up leg penetration analyses.Ability to undertake scour assessments, pile drivability and leg extraction analyses.Good technical knowledge of offshore design and construction.Familiar with commercial and contractual issues and able to provide guidance to clients.Good sales and business development techniques and be competent in marketing the capabilities of the companyCapable of seeing new business opportunities and pursuing these with existing and future clients.Proficient in French, German, Polish, Japanese or another language is an advantage.
